Read more from here >> 28.1.2009 Prof. Dr Himandri Das from International Management Institute (IMI) will visit Finland and CIRCMI at June -09 for two weeks. Prof. Dr Das is a Professor of Finance and Information Systems at the IMI in New Delhi, India, where he is also the Academic Dean. >>> 10.12.2008 Professor Mikko Ruohonen presents a research-in-progress paper on India outsourcing at the EIBA2008, international business research conference in Tallinn, Estonia, 11.-13.12.2008. His article "Nearshoring or Offshoring - case India" can be downloaded from here. 3.12.2008 Professor Mikko Ruohonen visited professors KBC Saxena and S S Bharadwaj at the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. They discussed about the forthcoming faculty exchange and linkages to Indo-Finnish research projects. During the same trip Prof Ruohonen met professors CS Venkataratnam and Himadri Das from International Management Institute, Delhi for collaboration on faculty exchange, research and industry projects. During her five months stay autumn 2007 she has cooperated with professor Mitchell M. Tseng as a visiting scholar at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and its Advanced Manufacturing Institute, AMI. To offer courses that develop Asia related competencies amongst students and professionals leading to employment and enhanced employability. 4. To engage in curriculum innovation that supports development of new courses and next generation capabilities required for success in the challenging Asian marketplace. 5. To develop a range of high-profile activities, such as seminars, conferences and lectures, which will help to inform and educate students and professionals about the develoments in Asia and between Asia and Finland/EU. 6. To develop a wide range of contacts at the highest levels of government, business and academia across Finland/EU and Asia with the purpose of creating educational, training and commercial links between Finland/EU and Asia. |
